Red Quinoa is naturally gluten-free, high in protein, magnesium, phosphorous and zinc. It has a slightly richer taste, chewier and heartier texture and a somewhat nuttier flavour compare to white quinoa. Despite the subtle differences, it can easily be a substitute for white quinoa in any dish and cooking applications are the same. Used in desserts, treats, snacks, breakfasts, salads, and a wide range of meals.
