Our balsamic vinegar is sourced from the original balsamic producing area of Modena Italy. Balsamic vinegar is traditionally made from reduction of grape skins, aged for 12 years. Today balsamic vinegar is made with the addition of caramel extracts, which each formulation yielding a slightly different taste profile. Often used as a dressing or reduction in gourmet meals it makes an excellent addition to the pantry.
